Career Women Wales are introducing our Women:In programme for those looking to become social leaders and social entrepreneurs in partnership with the British Council. It brings together women with different beliefs and perspectives to learn, share, get their voices heard and develop themselves as leaders. We're calling it:
‘Globally connected: Locally engaged.’
The Women:In programme is a great opportunity to grow your network, build confidence and self-awareness, develop skills for social action, improve your employability and develop your career.
It is a unique chance to work together with other women to create positive change locally by developing a Social Action Project (SAP)†.
Who is it for?
Women who want to raise their voices in their communities
Women who are interested in social enterprise as a viable career option
women who are looking for the next step into leadership, looking to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset to develop their careers.
†What are SAPs? Participants will be supported during the programme to develop ideas which can create sustainable change in their local communities. We call these ideas Social Action Projects. Do watch the video to learn more.
Participants will be expected to commit to attend for all the three dates: Monday 6th, Wednesday 8th and Friday 10th February 2017
The Women:In Social Action Projects (SAPs) will run from February onwards.
Venue: C3SC, Baltic House, Mount Stuart Square, Cardiff Bay
Closing date for applications: Monday 30th January.
We would like to thank C3SC for supporting us with a venue.
